William O. Ahonen CFP®, CASL®, CFS and RICP® is a founding partner of Advise Financial Solutions in Green, OH. Bill began his financial services career with MetLife in 1989 serving as a financial advisor in the Columbus area. In 2004, Bill transitioned to a management role with MetLife; eventually managing a four-state region for the company. During his management career, Bill received many awards, highlighted by the 2011 Manager of the year award. In 2013, Bill returned to his roots as a financial adviser.
Bill graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics. He has continually focused on professional development achieving his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)designation in 1997. Later adding designations as a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional RICP®
Bill focuses his practice on asset preservation and income generation during retirement. He enjoys helping clients identify goals and alleviating their concerns through the creation of a strategic plan.
